Sturdy bed
Had the bed a few weeks now. Bit tricky to put up as no holes for slats in base as well as 3 or 4 slats were a bit warped so had to juggle where to put them. Also the brown wrap paper stuck to a few. I would suggest an electric screw driver as otherwise would be hard. I can confirm this bed is 200cms long, so is 10cms longer than the average mattress. I would have preferred it to be 190cms to fit my mattress and to give me more space at end of bed. It is also higher than expected. I would think too high for a small child. So far it is holding up well for an adult, with no creakings or noises. Overall, for the price I would recommend but maybe check the slats before you put up the frame. I may have returned them if I hadnt already put up the frame.

Hi Lucas,
Thanks for your query about the Odin Single Platform Bed Frame - Pine.
Yes, you could store a mattress under it, though it’d depend of course on the thickness and size of the mattress.
The height of the gap is a touch less than 30.5cm so a mattress thinner than that would be fine. As you’d need to allow for the size of the legs, the mattress would need to be less than 190cm long. Assuming you’d be putting the mattress in from the side, not the ends, the width of the mattress would not be so important overall, except that it’d still be best if it was less than the overall bed width, so as to allow a user to have suitable and safe access to the bed itself and because it’d be visually better too if this was the case. The width of the bed is 96.3cm.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi PT
