We bought this product to provide an occasional spare bed. We hoped that it would also provide a tolerably comfortable padded chair. It has no arms, so armchair seems the wrong word. It is very easy to open up and the four additional legs are simple to fold out. The bed is firm and a mattress topper is recomended. The velour upholstery is practical and pleasant to the touch. A very good product in a product category where choices are very limited. Other options explored online revealed many poor reviews for other products, especially IKEA. Delivery was prompt and they carried the chair bed upstairs for us.

Great addition to our small spare room
This chair fits perfectly in our small spare room and can be easily tucked away when not in use. It’s easy to convert from chair to bed. Comfortable and spacious to sleep on, but is quite firm. The legs catch a bit on carpet.

Fab chair
we bought this primarily as a spare bed. It matches our settee perfectly. It is comfortable as a chair and easily morphs into a bed. We added a mattress topper to be sure of comfort but it is remarkably comfortable without one. Definitely would recommend.

Good quality easy to assemble
Good delivery service. Literally taken out box and adding the legs with the supplied screws so as easy as it can be for assembly. Good quality and soft for a sofa. Quite firm for a sofa bed but we anticipated this and and weren't expecting it to be the quality you get for an actual mattress This is offset anyway as we got a quality foldable mattress to stick on top for it. We bought two sofa beds so have the option to make two single beds when guests visit or a large super king bed with them butted together.

It may be possible with the legs unattached but very awkward & heavy. We had difficulties carrying it upstairs, we should have left it in the packaging to prevent it unfolding. Hope this helps.
