The Habitat Roma Velvet Fabric Chairbed sorts out your seating and guest sleeping in one compact piece. It's really handy when relatives or friends need to stay over but you haven't got a spare room available. The single-sized sleeping area unfolds when you need it, then folds away when you don't. Soft velvet fabric feels lovely and adds texture to your room, while angled wooden feet give it character and lift it off the floor. The charcoal tone works with most colour schemes. It's compact enough for smaller living rooms or studios where space is tight.
Foam filling wrapped in fibre keeps the seat comfortable and holds its shape through regular use. The cushions lift off so you can plump them up or move them when you're converting it to a bed. Wooden feet attach quickly, that's all the assembly you'll need to do. The sleeping surface is suitable for occasional use, so it's ideal for guests who visit now and then. Perfect spare bed
Delighted with the chair, and the bed was a success too. It was well made, and took ten minutes to affix the final four legs.

Great bed and very stylish chair.
We boight this two weeks ago for when our son comes home for the weekend. It will be ideal. Ordinary single bedding will fit perfectly. I will take the advice of one reviewer and get a matress topper as the base is quite firm. We bought it in green and the colour is lovely, as is the fabric. It was very easy to convert to a bed and back again to a chair, which looks very modern and stylish. Would definitely recommend. Price was fantastic compared to others we looked at. If you need a spare bed that won’t take up too much room, this is the one. I’m one very happy shopper.

The velvet fabric is luxurious and the simplicity of the form gives a modern feel. The technical construction of pockets/folding legs is simply ingenious. The chair is surprisingly firm, which I prefer as it will hold its form longer. As others have mentioned a little topper for sleeping makes for a comfortable nights sleep.

To a degree this is a subjective opinion as what would be considered dark is partially up to the user. Also, how dark it may look will be affected by the lighting and decor in the location it's being used. It's not a light sage green shade though.

It may be possible with the legs unattached but very awkward & heavy. We had difficulties carrying it upstairs, we should have left it in the packaging to prevent it unfolding. Hope this helps.
