Who are you?
I’m the Digital Editor here at Habitat. Needless to say, I’m very into interiors but I’m also an avid traveller and fashion fiend.
What’s the day job?
Working alongside teams such as design and buying, I plan our content calendar for the season ahead so we know what stories we’d like to communicate to the customer. This determines the blog, email and social media plan. I then create these stories online, be it a sneak peek inside a celebrity’s amazing home or an interiors trend focus.
What does your dream day look like?
In the sunshine on a boat with my best friends, a beautiful view, the breeze in my hair and a glass of prosecco in my hand.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I’d love to experience the slow life on a Caribbean island for a while.
What’s the first thing you check out when visiting someone’s home for the first time?
I’m a bit of a magpie so my eye is drawn to statement pieces such as mirrors and decorative accessories. I’m forever asking where things are from.
What’s your interior addiction?
At the moment I’m a little bit obsessed with blush, copper and cacti. Preferably all together!
What makes you really angry?
Unnecessary rudeness and flakiness.
Pick a favourite film, book and song.
The latest film I really liked was La La Land for its feel-good vibes. In terms of books, I love thrillers so anything like The Girl on the Train or Gone Girl. I can’t choose one song…there are just too many!
Best place you’ve ever been on holiday?
This little island off Belize called Caye Caulker – the best snorkelling I’ve ever done.
What’s your favourite smell?
When you step off a plane into a wall of warmth and the smell of sunshine.
What single thing would improve your life?
What are you bad at that you wish you did well?
What would be your Death Row meal?
As sad as it is I’m going to throwback to when I was five because you can’t beat chicken nuggets, chips and beans. Failing that, an Indian would also work.
