One of the joys of buying pieces for your home is exploring the quality of materials and textures. With Habitat, that’s becoming easier, as we’ve just opened a new mini store in the Horsham, West Sussex, branch of Homebase.
It features an edit of our best-loved pieces (get your classic fix) as well as items from the new autumn/winter ’13 collection. Look out for pieces from our key trends. One of which is fresh, relaxed painterly pattern, as in Blot tableware and textiles. The ‘drawn line’ is another direction, where furniture and accessories appear to have been drawn in black felt tip pen.
There are also lots of products designed by Habitat’s in-house design team, including the Naoko chair by Naoko Kanehira.
As well as two floors of furniture, textiles, lighting and home accessories, there are iPads in-store, allowing you to order items from the whole Habitat collection for delivery.
This new store in Horsham is the fourth mini Habitat store outside London, after Battersea, Ruislip, Solihull and Ewell. The next mini stores will open on 23 August in Homebase Leeds, Orpington and Bracknell.
