Sainsbury's are recalling the above products due to the potential for the holder to catch fire.
What do I need to do?
If you have purchased one of the above products, please return it to your local Sainsburys store for a full refund. For further details or if you have any questions, then please visit our website Sainsburys.co.uk/help or you can contact our careline on 0800 028 8303.
We take the quality and safety of our products extremely seriously and would like to apologise to customers affected for any inconvenience this may cause.

Eton fabric sofas and footstool in Grey, and Charcoal

Habitat takes the safety of its customers extremely seriously. As a result, we are writing to inform you of an important fire safety issue, discovered during routine testing, in relation to the fabric used on Eton sofas and footstools.
A number of products have failed to meet the required fire safety standards and if exposed to a naked flame, the cover fabric could catch fire. Other upholstery materials used to make this product (such as foam and fibre) are unaffected by this issue and comply with the fire safety standards.
Habitat would like to apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.

This only affects items sold between 01/02/2022 to 28/02/2023 in the UK, and 14/03/2022 to 28/02/2023 in the Republic of Ireland. All other items remain unaffected, which includes Eton in leather.
What do I need to do?
In the meantime, your sofa/footstool can still be used, provided you ensure it doesn’t come into contact with fire sources for example, matches.

As a result, we would ask that you contact the Customer Service Team on UK FREEPHONE– 0800 011 3462 at a time convenient to you, to arrange delivery of an alternative model or refund. In both cases you must still be in possession of your Eton product(s) and these must be made available for us to collect.
Jackson fabric sofas in Black, Orange, and Artichoke
