The wait is finally over. The Shrimps for Habitat collection has landed. Delving into the archives of her cult London fashion label, Shrimps, Hannah Weiland’s first fashion-meets-interiors collection is a spectacle like no other.
Inspired by some of Shrimp’s most popular designs, think make-believe creatures, colour clashing faux fur and other-wordly patterns. A signature palette of Shrimps pink and red underpins the collection, punctuated with accents of gold and washes of blue. Breton stripe faux fur throws are draped on painterly print bedding, layered alongside embroidered cushions and hand crafted rugs. Check out our behind-the-scenes video from the Shrimps for Habitat photoshoot.

DOODLE HAND CARVED RUG
“This is a real statement piece – hand tufted and hand-carved by a small workshop in India, this is the Doodle clutch bag from our Resort 2017 collection taken to a large scale. The hand carving gives the rugs doodles different heights giving them them stand out from the floor.”SHOP THE DOODLE RUG »
FACES SCREEN PRINTED CUSHION
“This is a classic pattern from our archive and one that fans of Shrimps will know well! In a co-ordinated soft pink colour palette, the faces are screen printed by hand onto a linen base for a relaxed, casual look with a pink piped edge.”SHOP THE FACES CUSHION »
BRIDGET BRETON STRIPE FAUX FUR THROW AND BEDSPREAD
“Faux fur is at the heart of Shrimps. The first coat that I designed was made from Breton striped faux fur and this gigantic bedspread is the equivalent of about ten of those, adding a bit of eccentric-luxe to the bedroom or lounge.”SHOP THE BRIDGET THROW »
“A romantic trip to Venice inspired this whimsical hero print from our SS18 collection with a festival of architecture, seashells and Venetian Jesters. Digital printing was used to capture my original artwork, translating it directly onto a cotton percale base.”SHOP THE VENEZIA BEDDING »
