Asking the team at Habitat HQ to pick their best-loved product is like being asked to pick one’s favourite child- damn near impossible.
So, instead, we have picked our favourite 25 furniture and accessories to help celebrate our 25% off everything sale on the 6th March, and even that was hard!
1. Tub lights
Available in 3 fab colours, the Tub bamboo table lamp has a beautiful high gloss dip detail lacquered to perfection and contrasts beautifully with the natural bamboo.
With its solid ash frame and tapered legs, this elegant, minimalist design is a firm favourite at Habitat HQ. Transform your whole bedroom as this contemporary collection includes the bed, drawers, dressing table and side table.
Underneath its colourful lacquered exterior, the Talia collection is made from hard wearing solid beech timber. This collection was designed in house by our brilliant team and is a contemporary version of the spindle back chair.
Designed by Habitat’s in-house team, the Royston collection is a beautifully crafted range, with an unusual slatted design at the forefront of each piece. The Royston is made from natural, solid oak and oak veneers with a light, matt lacquer, and works equally well in the bedroom and/or living areas.
Hands down one of the most exciting pieces from our new season for 2014, the Soko design is inspired by traditional Japanese simplicity. A transparent back allows light to enter the cabinet, showing the silhouette of your most prized possessions, while the door fronts can be slid across one another to display the contents in turn. The cabinet, which can also be used as an AV unit, is made from stained birch with frosted Perspex doors on smooth runners
6. Marni armchair.
The casual yet elegant Marni armchair effortlessly adds a pop of colour to any room. Defined by sleek lines contrasted by soft quilted detailing all round, the lounge chair is generously padded for the ultimate seating comfort and we think it looks great at every angle.
At Habitat, we understand the need for your furniture to be flexible and fit your lifestyle. All hail the modular system! You can combine a few Miles units together to create shelving that is unique to your home with maximum visual impact.
8. Haris sofa
While we’re on the topic of modular furniture, we also love our Haris sofa. With its architectural aesthetic, the Haris is available in a variety of beautiful colours and different sized sections to allow you to create any number of seating possibilities.
As smooth as a pebble that has just washed up on the beach, the Poli range of bathroom accessories (designed by Anna Pretty) is made from polyresin which makes it soft to touch and easy to wipe clean. It’s got the Habitat stamp of approval!
10. Esterban vase
Recycled glass, organic in shape- what more can you ask for? This beautiful vessel is perfect to be used as a vase or decorative object in your home.
11. Cereria candle
Bright colours and fragrance names like ‘black opium’ and ‘grey cotton’- must be smelled to be believed! The collection also includes scents like Tuberose, Grapefruit and amber, to name a few.
The Paper cut white metal candle holder takes its inspiration from origami and the art of paper folding. Available in different sizes, it is perfect for the centre of your dining table!
Reminiscent of lighting from a fishing vessel, these Bait lanterns are made with neon orange rope and will inject a bit of colour to your summer table setting.
Metal. Grey. Neon. The three hottest trends in interiors at the moment, combined into one collection of outdoor gardening items. Ideal for when you want your watering can to match your planters, of course.
15. Faceted mirror
Available in both a wall mirror and full length version, this elegant mirror has faceted, mirrored sides to do away with the standard frames that often surround a mirror. This will allow even more light to be reflected back into the room, which is always a bonus!
16. Hann planter
Terrazzo is more commonly associated with kitchen worktops, but it has been used to create this modern range of garden planters. Lightweight but strong, due to it being a mix of polyresin and small stone- perfect for the modern English garden.
17. Torso vase
The unusual Torso blue reactive glaze ceramic vase is square shaped with a small neck and an ultra-thin profile. The blue reactive glaze makes each piece unique. We only wish our torsos were this slim.
18. Ripple vase
Hand carved from mango wood, the Ripple decorative vase is a striking sculptural piece with an organic ridged surface. The warmth of the mango wood softens the rippled edges and adds a touch of sophistication
19. Cohen mirror
This statement mirror is made in Vietnam using recycled magazines! It’s a new and exciting range for Habitat that also includes placemats and baskets. It’s great to think we are using materials that would otherwise end up in land fill.
20. Lauto bed linen
Bring bold bright colours into your bedroom with the Lauto bed linen range. With its painterly striped pattern, it’s surely got to be the most cheerful bedding we’ve seen for a while.
21. Marble cushion
The ‘marbled effect’ is hot in interiors right now. It can add a bit of lux to your room and we are now selling beautiful marbled cushions in various colours including neon yellow.
22. Sebbi throw
It’s colourful, it features geometric shapes, it’s reversible and it’s the perfect way to add colour to your bedroom!
23. Tash rug
If you’re looking for a rug with a strong personality, look no further than the Tash rug. With its thick woollen pile and hand drawn design in blue and neon orange, it really creates a focal point within a neutral scheme.
24. Bowan rug
Our tribal-inspired Bowan rug is made from recycled cotton fabric. On first glance it appears to be made with a mix of neutral colours, but if you look closer it’s like a multi-coloured kaleidoscope!
