It may still be winter outside, but seeing our new spring collections appearing in-store and online is making us feel very bright and energised. We’ll be revealing four stylish looks over the next few weeks, but we’d like to share a few key pieces right now.
Habitat’s new collection is a celebration of form and function. We’re using material in new ways, mixing textures and colours. It’s all based on our founding principle that design should be fun, affordable and remarkable.
A key look is bold geometric pattern and curvy organic shapes. The Ayres chairs have curved edging and wide lollipop stick legs to create a soft, playful look.
The technique behind the Bowan rug is a first for Habitat. It’s made from recycled rags which are grouped into individual colours and constructed into the final pattern. We discovered this technique on a buying trip to India and think the overall look is so beautiful.
Hexa is a totally faceted tabletop range in a strong combination of matt black and yellow gloss to make a bold contemporary statement.
The Esterban collection of recycled glass vessels seem to have been ‘squidged’ by hand to create their irregular bulgy shapes.
