It’s hard to believe that the ubiquitous London florist, Grace & Thorn, has only been going for 5 years. From founder Nik Southern’s fledging days, touting her wares around east-end pubs, the florists has grown to a portfolio of 3 London stores, weddings every weekend and a full-to-bursting little black book of discerning clients who have all fallen for G&T’s self-proclaimed “wonky” arrangements.
“We break the rules. Everyone else will do it straight, we’ll do it wonky! I named my company after a rose because I loved the duality, it’s graceful but it has thorns that say, “don’t mess with me”. This is true for the business too. It’s not just about creating a beautiful bouquets, you need the edge that draws your eyes to it.”, explains Nik. They certainly do that.
Whether you’re a longterm fan or a new admirer, you’ll want to book onto their Wreath Making Workshop at Platform on Wednesday 7 December.
