Fancy taking a moment this February to feel good? Join Khoollect (a creative space and lifestyle community founded by best-selling cook, Rachel Khoo) on Thursday 2 February for an evening with the experts who will speak on mindful practices, sustainability, minimalism and happiness:
- Co-founder of OLIO — an app that connects neighbours with one another and local shops to share surplus food, and reduce waste — Saasha Celestial-One will share advice for reducing food waste.
- Maria Stone — a slow living and waste-free living advocate who runs workshops — will provide insights on conscious, sustainable living. She’s also the founder of slow living magazine Miel.
- Happiness consultant Samantha Clarke will give listeners practical and simple tips for boosting their happiness every day.
- Emily Mitchell from The Mindfulness Project — a London-based centre that teaches meaningful meditation and mindfulness — will make meditation more accessible and relatable to busy people.
The event will take place at Platform with refreshment supplied by Karma Kola, the UK’s only Fairtrade organic cola with a direct relationship with cola farmers in Sierra Leone and guilt-free, natural nibbles from Nakd. Tickets are only £5 with all profits going to Mind.
