The Buyer’s Guide to Habitat’s Leather Sofas

Buying a leather sofa is a serious investment. But for those who part with their pennies, the rewards are great…natural, durable, fully sustainable, easy to look after and comfortable. Get the design right and a leather sofa will stand the test of time and even looks better with age.

At Habitat, we’ve worked really hard on our range of leather to ensure there’s something to suit everyone’s tastes…and wallets! From the natural beauty of aniline leather, where the leather’s inherent characteristics are all part of its charm, to a corrected grain where the finish is more uniform and durable, we can help you marry up the design you like with the finish you need, as well as point you in the direction of some of our favourite places to park your tush.

Just a couple of things before we kick off: it’s worth noting that Habitat ONLY uses real leather on their sofas. Call it what you will: pleather, PU, bonded leather, split leather…these are not real leathers and we don’t use any of them. We offer 5 different qualities, each in a range of colours, so you’ll find ours is one of the biggest selection of any high street retailer.

Ok, got all that? Good. Let’s go!
